快到月底了，考虑买一点I-bond

上个月底就曾经斗争过是不是要买点I-bond，因为I-bond每半年更新一次利率，11月1号正是新利率出台的时候。后来还是决定等等看利率是不是会再升，结果虽然Inflation Rate从1.79%升到了2.85%，但是Fixed Rate部分从1.2%降到了1.0%，所以这个月底买比上个月底买整体反倒降了(6.93%到6.73%)。如果长期持有的话，就是一直少了Fixed Rate这0.2%，呵呵。但是这个利率还是要比CD高多了，所以还是决定买一点。

I-bond的一个小trick就是即便在月底买，你也会得到当月一整个月的利息，所以一般都是在月底买；相反抛出的时候则在月初抛售。I-bond的利率历史可以在这里查到。

I did the same thing! Regreting...

Did you order yours electronically? I bought the paper ones, but still have not received them yet. I was told it might take 6 weeks. I guess I would be lukcy if be paided the interest of Dec :(

呵呵，还好只有0.2%，而且你短期持有的话可能还赚了：）
为什么要买paper呢？Electronic多方便。。。
